Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller) belongs to the lily family (Liliaceae). Because of its ability to survive in dry regions and its high water content, True Aloe is a succulent plant. Originally native to the Arabian Peninsula, aloe is now cultivated in all tropical and subtropical regions of the world, especially in Mexico.
