Press cakes and flours
Bakery products, cereals, granola bars, smoothies and more: our flours enrich these and other products of everyday life, for example with their high protein and fibre content. The flours are popular in vegetarian and vegan diets as well as a source of protein for athletes. Pets and production animals receive our press cakes as a protein-rich feed component.
Both press cakes and flours are produced during oil production. Press cakes contain a residual oil content of five to ten percent and many different amino acids. The grinding of the press cakes results in protein flours. Using the by-products from oil production means sustainable upcycling – mostly in our own oil mill Lipos.
