Background

Green Lipped Mussel Powder is obtained from the ground meat of New Zealand green-lipped mussels, also known as green shelled mussels (Perna canaliculus), which are 10 - 25 cm long. The green-lipped mussel is an endemic species of New Zealand, where it is farmed in aquacultures.
