Background

Natural Salmon Oil is produced from the bodies of the maritime salmon in various proportions (depending on quality) from the classic Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar)and the rest from the Osteichthyes genus. The chopped fish bodies are sterilised in closed containers under low pressure. Centrifuges and separators are used to separate the components into solids, water and oil. The oil is subsequently cold-filtered and deodorised/distilled in accordance with the specific product requirements.
